Associate Product Manager
Job Description
Rezdy is hiring an Associate Product Manager in Seattle, WA (onsite) to serve as the NA-timezone point of contact for the Sydney/Melbourne product and development team. This role emphasizes operational rigor across incidents and churn intake, while also supporting partner and distribution workflows during North America working hours.
Role Responsibilities
- Connect the time zones: Act as the dependable daily link between North America stakeholders, including support and account management teams, and the Sydney/Melbourne-based PM and dev team. Relay decisions and blockers in real time to avoid waiting for the next overlap window.
- Own NA distribution conduit work: Serve as the NA distribution connection for Commercial leads and distribution partners (including Viator and GYG) as well as Distribution Resellers.
- Keep incidents moving during NA hours: Triage escalations that occur in North America working hours using a defined severity framework. Loop in the senior PM and dev lead when judgment calls exceed current scope, and provide clear, live updates to NA support and account management teams without waiting for AU working days.
- Surface and track AM churn risk: Handle intake of churn risk flagged by NA account managers. Capture impact and urgency at the time it is raised so it is framed and ready for fair sprint planning by the senior PM and dev lead.
- Answer status questions for active work: Provide NA “what’s in flight” answers for Booking Manager and Distribution, including whether items are expected, known, and current status. Use close alignment with the senior PM’s roadmap and known-issues context rather than independent authority.
- Support release communication during NA hours: Help execute the existing release process through communication and post-release follow-up during NA working hours, without owning release planning or prioritization.
- Work closely with Engineering: Build enough fluency in data architecture to relay NA-side context accurately to engineering. Support accurate translation without owning technical trade-off decisions.
- Use AI tools to accelerate execution: Apply AI tools to speed up research, troubleshooting, and day-to-day tasks as a lever for moving faster, not as a substitute for judgment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or a closely related operational or customer-facing role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Comfort working within another PM’s priorities and roadmap, bringing judgment and context to how work is executed.
- Experience with incident or issue management processes, with clear communication under time pressure.
- Comfort working with legacy technology systems and the teams that maintain them, translating legacy constraints into current product priorities for both engineering and commercial audiences.
- Strong written communication skills, able to adapt tone and depth for support and account management teams as well as engineering.
- Ease operating in process-driven environments such as Jira and Slack (or equivalents).
- Comfort picking up domain concepts across different product types, such as transactional booking flows and distribution or channel connectivity, without needing deep expertise on day one.
