Design Product Manager

The Design Product Manager leads the move from design to production within Anduril Industries' Industrial Design team. The role coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to implement design requirements and deliver hardware products, requiring deep industrial design development expertise in a technical setting and strong cross functional collaboration.

• Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 per year
• Minimum experience: 5 years

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Industrial Design team and manufacturing leadership to align priorities and activities
• Monitor hardware manufacturing development and lifecycle progression across all business lines
• Develop and maintain a synchronized design for manufacturability (DFM) roadmap across the hardware portfolio
• Ensure design requirements are implemented across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics
• Update internal documentation detailing design mechanics and specifications
• Coordinate asset delivery internally and with external partners

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience as a project or product manager in hardware management
• Strong understanding of the industrial design process and design for manufacturing principles
• Experience with engineering teams and hardware product development is required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally, bridging creative and technical disciplines
• Reliable self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, with attention to detail
• Team player with strong collaboration capabilities and the ability to handle complex projects on a global scale
• Ability to carry and lift loads up to 50 pounds
• On-site work requirement at the Costa Mesa headquarters
• U.S. person status required due to access to export controlled information or facilities
