Product Operations Technical Specialist, Maritime

Panama City, FL $101k - $135k/yr Full time Posted 4h ago

Job Description

Product Operations Technical Specialist (Maritime) ensures the reliability and readiness of Anduril’s Maritime autonomous undersea products through incident triage, fleet telemetry analysis, and coordinated mitigations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first technical responder for issues across the global Maritime fleet, investigating logs, telemetry, and system state to isolate faults across software, hardware, and network boundaries, then drive incidents to resolution.
  • When an engineering fix will take time, identify and deploy interim mitigations and workarounds so customers can keep operating, while coordinating the permanent fix in parallel.
  • Pull, query, and analyze fleet health data and logs to spot trends, predict failures, and prevent issues before they reach the customer.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to convert field data and failure analysis into permanent system upgrades and design improvements.
  • Serve as a translator between deeply technical engineering teams, business development stakeholders, and military operators, explaining complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Convert lessons from real incidents into repeatable reliability processes, diagnostic tooling, and runbooks that scale as the Maritime fleet grows worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience (military, maritime, industrial, or field support).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with software-intensive or networked systems in a production, field, or customer-facing environment (for example: reading logs, isolating faults across software and hardware boundaries, reproducing issues).
  • Working proficiency with the Linux command line and comfort analyzing data beyond spreadsheets (SQL, Python, bash, or similar).
  • Ability to work through ambiguous, unstructured technical problems from first principles, including deploying interim mitigations and workarounds that keep customers operational while permanent fixes are engineered.
  • Self-starter with a record of high achievement across multiple domains, with a hands-on approach to learning new systems.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate technical and non-technical efforts across business, engineering, and sustainment functions, influencing decision-making, resource allocation, and operational planning.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance, and based in (or willing to relocate to) Quincy, MA.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer operations and test events, plus willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends as required.
