Digital Product Manager, Analyst
Job Description
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Digital Product Manager, Analyst within the Asset & Wealth Management division, specifically focusing on Wealth Investment Solutions. The role centers on building and evolving the GSAM Advisor Portal to improve advisor efficiency, client experience, and scalable digital capabilities. This position is based onsite in New York.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior digital product managers to define and execute the product roadmap, stewarding the end-to-end lifecycle and ensuring timely product releases.
- Develop deep knowledge of the end-to-end client experience within the assigned pillar, staying current on day-to-day processes across portfolio management, client portfolio management, sales, operations, and user interviews.
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers and other stakeholders across cross-functional teams to craft innovative digital solutions and achieve alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Write and maintain JIRA tickets, functional requirements, and project documentation as needed.
- Design a testing plan and validate results to support smooth rollout of product enhancements.
- Exercise prudent risk management and escalate issues when appropriate to protect the client experience.
- Monitor and measure product performance over time to inform future enhancements and prioritization.
- Communicate release notes and updates in written and verbal form as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience or familiarity with investing concepts (such as equities, fixed income, direct indexing, tax loss harvesting, tax management, evaluating performance and risk) and/or operational concepts (account onboarding, lifecycle events).
- Technical background to understand quantitative investment analytics, process maps, data dependencies, and to drive testing and validation plans with engineering; ideally a degree in mathematics, computer science, financial engineering, or other STEM field.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to document specifications and communicate across teams.
- Strong communication abilities across verbal, written, and presentation formats to effectively partner with stakeholders.
- Interest in learning the investment business, improving the client investment experience, and delivering high-quality products.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and align with changing priorities.
- Interest in making data-driven decisions and using data to measure product performance.
- Willingness to engage with nuanced details necessary for high-quality decision-making and prudent risk management impacting the investment experience.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $90,000-$125,000 per year. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
