Job Description

This role at Floor and Decor Outlets of America, Inc. oversees the customer shopping experience on flooranddecor.com, starting with Ratings & Reviews and expanding to other shop and browse features.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize features across the shop and browse journey, including ratings & reviews, product listings, product detail pages, search, and related experiences based on identified needs and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable prioritization guidance to the Shop & Browse Product Manager, aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Engage in production support activities such as reproducing issues, analyzing customer sessions and system logs to assess impact, root causes, and potential fixes.
  • Perform market and competitive research, incorporating user feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and trends in ecommerce.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, author user stories, and develop product specifications that support the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features, enhancements, and technical integrations.
  • Lead user acceptance testing to verify that new features meet functional, usability, and performance standards.
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs such as conversion rate, checkout abandonment, fulfillment times, and customer satisfaction to measure feature impact and identify improvement areas.
  • Leverage data analysis and user insights to continuously optimize features and guide data-driven product decisions.
  • Adjust features and strategy in response to evolving user needs, market dynamics, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in digital product management and/or business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, with experience partnering closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing online and in-store impact and requirements.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to shape product vision and requirements for web and omnichannel retail contexts; proficient in using data to inform decisions.
  • Experience using data to drive short- and long-term product decisions for online sales growth and customer satisfaction; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Track record of delivering digital products end-to-end, from ideation and roadmap planning to launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator bridging business, technology, and customer experience teams to achieve unified results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others to execute tasks and achieve results.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid role with in-office work from Monday to Thursday.

  • Sedentary work with the ability to occasionally lift 10-20 pounds; predominantly sedentary with occasional walking or standing.
