Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, translating business needs into prioritized user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to deliver capabilities that support the complete application lifecycle, including onboarding, submission, validation, approval, publishing, maintenance, and retirement
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable workflows that move applications through lifecycle stages while maintaining quality, traceability, and operational consistency
  • Define and maintain a governance framework for the marketplace, including partner eligibility, app submission standards, metadata requirements, documentation expectations, and compliance criteria
  • Establish policies, processes, and operational controls that ensure consistency, transparency, and scalability across all ecosystem participants
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation framework with submission guidelines, validation requirements, templates, and procedures for partners, developers, and internal teams
  • Define and oversee validation and certification processes to ensure applications meet quality, security, compliance, and technical standards before publication
  • Collaborate with Security, Legal, Engineering, and Certification teams to establish robust review workflows combining automated validation and manual assessment
  • Ensure publishing activities are controlled, auditable, and efficient while upholding platform integrity and a high-quality user experience
  • Establish processes for ongoing governance of published applications, including version management, periodic reviews, re-certification requirements, and retirement of non-compliant or obsolete apps
  • Define and track key operational metrics such as validation pass rates, time-to-publish, cycle times, submission quality, and platform efficiency
  • Utilize operational insights and stakeholder feedback to identify improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance overall platform effectiveness
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams to ensure successful implementation of platform capabilities and processes
  • Support go-to-market initiatives by ensuring the application catalog is ready, improving app discoverability, and aligning platform capabilities with commercial objectives
  • Collaborate with regional, zone, and country teams to drive ecosystem adoption and ensure the marketplace supports partner engagement and growth objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with strong exposure to platform operations, governance, workflow-driven products, or digital ecosystems
  • Proven experience managing digital platforms, SaaS ecosystems, marketplaces, or application catalogs
  • Expertise in governance design, process definition, validation frameworks, and operational scalability
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Legal, Marketing, and Commercial
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring operational performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills to influence across global teams
  • Ability to operate in evolving environments while balancing operational discipline with growth objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred
