Job Description

Lead analytics at scale within Google’s Data Cloud organization, owning how product success is measured and how reporting, experimentation, and forecasting turn data into better decisions. This onsite role in Kirkland, WA is built for a senior leader who can connect Data Cloud performance to broader Cloud outcomes and ensure high-quality strategy and execution.

What you’ll do

  • Define, own, and evolve product success metrics that teams can rely on to guide execution.
  • Report, analyze, and forecast trends across key product metrics, then make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Provide thought leadership for defining, analyzing, and validating metrics and hypotheses to inform decision-making and measure product team impact.
  • Work with large, complex data sets, developing solutions that support incremental business growth.
  • Solve non-routine, cross-disciplinary analysis problems using advanced analytical methods as needed.
  • Run end-to-end analysis work that connects findings back to product strategy and operations.
  • Develop experimentation and measurement frameworks to increase investment velocity and support complex decision-making.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • 12 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, including statistical analysis and coding.
  • 3 years of experience managing or leading teams.
  • Experience with the technical aspects of analytics, data science and statistical methodologies, data management, and analytical and data visualization software tools.

Preferred qualifications

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience in an enterprise setting, including knowledge of data tied to market segments and competitive dynamics or customer adoption behavior.
  • Experience informing product decisions through both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.

Compensation and tools

Salary: USD 222,000 - 308,000 per year. Tools include R, SQL, and spreadsheets.
