Job Description

The Head of Product Operations will lead and scale Harvey's Product Operations function by establishing scalable systems, defining standards across the product lifecycle, and partnering cross-functionally to drive efficient delivery and operational excellence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strong operator to lead and grow our Product Operations function. This is a head of level position for an individual who thrives at the intersection of product, process, and people: a builder who can establish scalable systems and bring the rigor, metrics, and discipline required to run product operations efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Build and Scale a High-Performing Product Operations Function. Own the product operations function, designing the systems, processes, and team structures that enable rapid and precise product delivery. Define clear standards across the product delivery lifecycle from intake and prioritization through deployment and customer handoff, and build the team to meet those standards consistently. This includes hiring and developing strong operators and establishing clear cadences.
  • Bring Metrics and Rigor to How We Operate. Create and maintain a performance framework that governs day-to-day operations, defining and tracking KPIs such as delivery velocity, prioritization health, cross-functional alignment, and operational efficiency. Identify gaps, drive continuous improvement, and base decisions on data rather than gut instinct.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally to Drive Impact. Collaborate with Product leadership to surface insights that inform the roadmap and ensure the voice of the customer is embedded in development. Work with engineering, go-to-market, and customer success teams to ensure operational capabilities scale with product growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, management consulting, or B2B software, with a track record of leading operations teams and improving operational performance at scale; experience working closely with or embedded within a product organization is strongly preferred.
  • Operator Mindset with Strategic Range. System-thinker who builds for scale, comfortable solving broken processes and presenting operational strategy to senior leadership. Structured, analytical problem-solving approach with the ability to move quickly and make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous environments. Experience with AI-enabled automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Data-Driven Leadership. Basis for decisions is data; experience building measurement frameworks, instrumenting operations for visibility, and driving accountability. Experience with operational dashboards, OKR frameworks, or milestone tracking systems is a plus.
  • Team Builder. Proven ability to hire, develop, and scale operations teams, foster a strong culture, and create conditions for high performance. Demonstrates leadership by example and raises the bar for the team.

Compensation

Salary: USD 244,000 - 366,000 per year

This role is eligible to participate in Harvey's equity plan and benefits program, including comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, 401k matching up to 4%, and flexible PTO.
