Horizontal Product Manager – DC Capabilities (ERP)

Matlen Silver seeks an experienced Horizontal Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of distribution center facing capabilities supported by the ERP platform. The role partners with DC Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and ERP delivery teams to scale, integrate, and deliver measurable business value across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DC facing ERP capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise supply chain and operations objectives.
• Collaborate with DC Operations stakeholders to gather requirements, surface pain points, and translate business needs into clear product specifications.
• Drive horizontal alignment across multiple business units, maintaining consistent processes, data models, and capabilities across the DC network.
• Work with engineering, ERP configuration teams, and system integrators to deliver high quality solutions on schedule.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess adoption, operational efficiency, and ROI of DC capabilities.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery through rollout and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the subject matter expert bridging DC operational workflows and ERP system capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with a focus on supply chain, distribution, or ERP enabled solutions.
• Hands on experience in DC Operations or as a product manager for DC facing products such as WMS, inventory management, receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, or labor management.
• Proven ability to manage horizontal or platform products that serve multiple business units or geographies.
• Strong understanding of ERP integrated supply chain workflows and data flows.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization.

Job Summary

This contract engagement centers on directing the strategy, roadmap, and execution of DC facing capabilities within the ERP ecosystem. The role requires cross functional collaboration with DC Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and ERP delivery teams to ensure scalable, integrated solutions that deliver measurable enterprise value.

Schedule

Location options include Cincinnati, OH or remote work, with coordination across EDT/CDT time zones.

Duration

Six months with the possibility of extension.

Pay Rate

USD 90 - 95 per hour. Rate is negotiable based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle RMS or related Oracle Retail / Supply Chain modules.
• Familiarity with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or Oracle WMS and their integration with ERP systems.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, or large scale distribution environments.
• Agile or Scrum product delivery experience.
