Staff Product Operations Manager
Job Description
At Socure, the Staff Product Operations Manager helps connect product strategy to day-to-day execution by building the centralized systems, reporting, and process workflows that teams rely on. This hybrid role in Seattle focuses on turning fragmented signals into consistent product operations metrics, enabling clearer roadmap and portfolio decisions across embedded product pods and company leadership.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide leadership and embedded product teams visibility into roadmap status, delivery progress, and portfolio health.
- Define and track core product operations metrics such as cycle time, roadmap adherence, planning hygiene, and tool adoption.
- Centralize Product Performance measurement by shaping metrics definitions, enabling telemetry builds, and coordinating access with central data and BI teams, in partnership with the Business Intelligence team for dashboard and reporting delivery.
- Partner with Finance, Sales/RevOps, and Engineering to incorporate commercial and delivery data (including CRM/ARR data) into product prioritization and reporting.
- Support recurring reporting cadences for business reviews, quarterly/annual planning, and board updates using clean and trusted data.
- Monitor data quality and drive hygiene standards across systems that feed reporting.
- Design and document repeatable processes for planning, prioritization, intake, and roadmap reviews so teams work from a shared model instead of re-inventing workflows per pod.
- Spot friction and manual or duplicated work across the product development lifecycle, then improve it through process, automation, or tooling.
- Create templates, playbooks, and checklists for feature intake, roadmap reviews, and launch readiness to reduce administrative burden for product managers.
- Serve as a go-to resource on shared tools and processes through training, office hours, and documentation.
- Facilitate cross-functional handoffs between Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM so work transitions smoothly.
- Standardize processes across pods while leaving room for flexibility where needed, aligned to different team requirements.
- Work with product leadership to translate strategy and company priorities into a concrete, trackable roadmap and a consistent planning cadence.
- Run planning rhythm across quarterly/annual cycles, roadmap reviews, and business reviews, keeping execution connected to shifting priorities.
- Track progress against strategic priorities and flag early when execution drifts from leadership intent.
- Support trade-off and prioritization discussions when competing demands conflict with stated priorities, so decisions are deliberate.
- Ensure pod-level work visibly ladders up to company-level strategic themes, not just local objectives.
- Close the loop after major planning moments so decisions show up in the systems teams use day to day.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Product Operations, Business/Sales Operations, or a Product Analyst/Management role, ideally supporting or working inside a product or engineering organization.
- Experience building dashboards and reports in PPM tools and platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Sheets/Excel; SQL is a plus.
- Experience using LLM-based tools (for example, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to augment workflows, dashboards, research, and role-related processes.
- Ability to design and document repeatable processes for intake, prioritization, and planning cadences.
- Comfort facilitating conversations where strategic priorities and day-to-day execution are in tension, helping stakeholders land on decisions.
- Strong analytical skills to turn messy or scattered information into actionable insights.
- Generalist approach with comfort moving between technical configuration, process design, and data/reporting in the same week.
- Bias toward identifying inefficiency and fixing it, including work outside the “official” scope.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, serving as connective tissue between central leadership and embedded product teams.
- Ability to work autonomously on a small, fast-moving team where priorities shift.

Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating in a centralized or hybrid Product Ops model supporting multiple embedded product teams or pods.
- Experience facilitating OKR or strategic-planning cadences and connecting them to roadmap execution.
- Working knowledge of PDLC and SDLC processes including roadmaps, backlogs, sprints, and prioritization frameworks such as RICE and WSJF, plus different launch and product profiles (for example, 0-1 and mature products).
- Experience supporting CRM to PPM integrations feeding commercial data into prioritization.
- Process improvement background (for example, Lean or Six Sigma), as a plus.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or another regulated technology environment.
- API or scripting experience for lightweight integrations and automation, including REST APIs and Zapier.
- Experience supporting company-wide annual/quarterly planning and board-level reporting.
What success looks like
- Product teams and leadership trust the systems and data used to make decisions.
- Leadership can reliably answer questions about roadmap and delivery status without scrambling.
- Tools remain consistent and well-governed rather than fragmenting pod by pod.
- Planning cycles run on schedule using clean data instead of last-minute reconciliation.
- Teams spend less time on manual coordination and administrative busywork, with more time spent on strategic decisions.
- Roadmap execution visibly ladders up to strategic priorities, with drift surfaced early.
- Cross-functional handoffs occur through defined, repeatable processes instead of ad hoc effort.
- System and reporting knowledge is documented and shared, not held by one person.
