Job Description

The Manager, Delivery Product Owner leads the articulation of business needs into delivery-ready features and oversees the product lifecycle across Deloitte Tax Transformation’s technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Delivery Product Owners and development teams to sharpen feature priorities, define requirements and acceptance criteria, and outline the intended business outcomes.
  • Support prioritization discussions by consolidating inputs, surfacing dependencies, and evaluating business value, risk, and readiness.
  • Work with Technical Product Owners and the broader team on scope, sequencing, sprint planning, feature readiness, deployment preparation, and progress visibility.
  • Develop cross-domain knowledge to operate across functional areas, map related impacts and dependencies, and maintain continuity as priorities evolve.
  • Examine bugs, support tickets, and business requests to assess impact, clarify issues, and prepare recommendations for prioritization and resolution.
  • Conduct regular sprint testing, Program Increment testing, and hands-on feature validation to verify alignment with product specifications and user needs.
  • Assist with Program Increment demos and other showcases by preparing features and validating readiness for demonstration.
  • Contribute to process documentation, learning guides, and end-user materials to support adoption, readiness, and ongoing operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor product-related risks, issues, and defects, escalate concerns as needed, and adapt effectively to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Hybrid work model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 to 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, design thinking, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience supporting product delivery, business analysis, project coordination, or technology implementation teams, including large-scale, full-lifecycle system deployments with complex integrations, APIs, and middleware.
  • Proven experience supporting testing activities, validating feature readiness, and contributing to process documentation or end-user enablement resources.
  • Demonstrated understanding of large language models, retrieval augmented generation, OCR, and how these can solve business problems.
  • Immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent, depending on program needs.
  • One of the following active accreditations (in process or obtainable): Licensed CPA; Licensed Attorney; Enrolled Agent; SAFE Agilist; Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Certified SAFE Product Owner/Product Manager; Project Management Professional (PMP); Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt); CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 116,175 to 237,375 per year.

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals from varying backgrounds including tax technical, technology development, change management, and Six Sigma.
