Marketing Product Operations Specialist
Job Description
Outdoor Cap Company, Inc is hiring an onsite Product Operations Specialist in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you help products launch on time and stay correct after go-live by managing product data, production orders, channel launches, and lifecycle updates. For JUNK Brands, you also own inventory performance through weeks of supply monitoring, replenishment planning, SKU rationalization, and collection management. If you enjoy turning complex planning details into reliable execution across multiple channels and brands, this is your lane.
Responsibilities
- Work backward from launch dates to determine build quantity, production order timing, and pre go-live tasks.
- Enter product data that becomes the source of truth, including images, categories, tags, and pricing.
- Determine which channels each product sells on and when each channel turns on, including junkbrands.com, Amazon, Walmart.com, Faire, TikTok Shop, and wholesale accounts like Lids and Scheels.
- Build and run the launch punch list by assigning channel requirements, owners, and due dates, then follow through to completion.
- Present the production order for approval and enter it by the required date.
- Identify risks that could impact launch timing early enough to resolve issues.
- Keep product data and imagery accurate across three brands wherever customers view them.
- Manage product lifecycle movement (in-line, sale, close out, seasonal) and update every channel to match.
- Handle inventory transfers so product is positioned where it sells.
- Validate that the website and other channels show correct product details, descriptions, visuals, copy, and prices.
- Format data for import and export, including manual entry when needed.
- Monitor weeks of supply by SKU and by collection, escalating risk before stockouts or overstock issues occur.
- Own replenishment by reviewing and verifying automated recommendations, presenting production orders for approval, and entering them once approved.
- Lead SKU rationalization by identifying underperformers, recommending cuts, and managing the wind down.
- Manage collections from introduction through exit.
- Reconcile inventory data across systems and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain reporting on sell through, coverage, and inventory position.
- Serve as the key interface with a customization software partner, including customer product administration and oversight of business rules in collaboration with Marketing and Development.
- Ensure custom blanks are set up with proper product information and monitor or troubleshoot customer customization issues.
- Provide regular status report outs to keep the organization informed.
- Stay comfortable using AI to optimize duties as automation and work assistance opportunities evolve.

- Good visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly accountable with strong follow-up skills.
- Working knowledge of inventory fundamentals, including weeks of supply, sell through, safety stock, and lead time.
- Understanding that each sales channel has its own requirements and lead times.
- Comfort making recommendations from imperfect data and explaining the reasoning.
- Willingness to question automated results rather than accept them at face value.
- Two or more years in product data, merchandising, planning, or inventory management preferred.
