Job Description
New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Owner within Motorola Solutions' Global IT team, based in Illinois (remote).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leads and IT peers to capture demand and offerings, guiding discussions to streamline offerings within guard rails.
- Translate business and IT requirements into actionable IT requirements for development teams, ensuring alignment with partners.
- Work with the CX team to design the simplest user experiences for NPIs.
- Drive cross-sell opportunities with the business functional area, particularly across recent mergers and acquisitions.
- Own the product roadmap, conduct market analysis, and perform competitive analysis.
- Coordinate with business and IT partners across functions through prioritization cadences to meet commitments; address issues to deliver on time and within budget.
- Convert rapidly evolving business needs into functional requirements, proposing alternative implementation options as needed.
- Establish engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures aligned to goals and business satisfaction.
- Define and enable managed delivery metrics and reporting.
- Own a clear and compelling vision for the product.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and pursue breakthrough outcomes.
- Maximize product value and monitor user adoption.
- Maintain the product backlog on an ongoing basis.
- Prioritize features in collaboration with the business product partner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional IT experience
- 5+ years of Product Owner experience
