Job Description

Product Manager to define and execute the strategy for MEAN WELL USA's power supply portfolio, overseeing lifecycle, go-to-market activities, and customer engagement; Mandarin is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyses to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the power supply sector.
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives.
  • Develop a clear product roadmap and strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Deliver internal and external trainings to educate, demonstrate, and advocate for new products and technologies.
  • Support product development efforts for the local market while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept through launch to end-of-life.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure successful development and launch.
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product introductions and updates to existing offerings.
  • Represent the voice of the customer inside the organization, advocating for customer needs and preferences.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customers and partners to gather insights and feedback.
  • Conduct customer surveys, market demand studies, and feasibility assessments to validate ideas and requirements.
  • Define key performance indicators to measure the impact of product initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Make data-driven decisions and iterate on products to improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or other technical field is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role within power supply or related industries.
  • Solid understanding of power supply technologies including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, inverters, and AC-AC VFDs.
  • Proven success in developing and launching products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and SMART decision making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Mandarin proficiency is required.

Experience

  • Product management: 3 years (Preferred).
  • Other relevant PM experience in power supply or related industries (Required as stated above).

Location

  • Fremont, CA onsite

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year
