OCR & Product Operations Coordinator (Part time)
Job Description
Part-time OCR and Product Operations Coordinator role focused on real-world testing and operational support to improve product quality and reliability.
Compensation: USD 25 per hour, part time
Responsibilities
- Procure items from multiple retailers to use in testing scenarios.
- Create and submit receipts via the Kaylus system.
- Verify the accuracy of receipt parsing and product matching.
- Detect false positives and false negatives in matches.
- Evaluate eligibility and redemption flows for offers.
- Design and run real-world testing scenarios.
- Work with leadership and Data Science to develop weekly testing plans.
- Identify high-risk workflows and edge cases.
- Develop testing scenarios tailored to retailers and categories.
- Maintain and expand the OCR testing library.
- Test the Kaylus mobile app.
- Test the Offer Builder portal on the web.
- Validate end-to-end user experiences.
- Reproduce and document software bugs.
- Verify fixes implemented by the engineering teams.
- Create and manage products, offers, campaigns, and test data.
- Confirm campaign setups and offer configurations.
- Support daily operational activities.
- Document testing results and findings.
- Log bugs and issues with product matching.
- Organize testing results and recommendations.
- Prepare brief weekly summaries for leadership.
- Collect and organize feedback from users and potential beta testers.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support future beta testing initiatives.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets at an intermediate level
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn new software systems
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
- Reliable transportation for retailer visits
- No coding or software engineering experience required

Availability Requirements
- Work 24–28 hours per week
- Work 4 weekdays per week
- Attend Monday and Wednesday team meetings

- Visit retailers during normal business hours
- Respond to testing requests within 24 hours during scheduled work periods
