Product Manager
Job Description
Join Meta's Facebook App team in New York City as a Product Manager and help steer a focused set of initiatives within a product area. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, leverage user research and data, and translate insights into tangible product plans that move the business forward.
Location: New York, NY (onsite) • Salary: USD 114,000 - 172,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more initiatives within a product area, set success metrics, prioritize issues, and identify optimal solutions to achieve overarching goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to craft a roadmap, drive milestones, remove blockers, and maintain healthy team dynamics.
- Collect and analyze user research, product insights, and market analysis to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate across all functions involved in your product area, aligning and influencing roadmaps as appropriate.
- Present product plans and progress clearly to leadership and peers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management or related industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree (or relevant degree equivalent); STEM subjects are ideal but not essential (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences).
- Experience working with a cross-functional product team on key projects: crafting product mission and strategy, defining product requirements, and driving milestones and goals.
- Proven ability to impact product outcomes and improve the effectiveness of a product team.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to apply findings to product decisions.
- Experience using a mix of approaches to understand user requirements and identify appropriate product solutions.
- Experience leading and motivating a product team.
