Product Manager

W. C. Bradley Co. invites you to join as a Product Manager onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role centers on growing the profitability and financial return of the assigned product portfolio through bold innovation and consumer insight. You will lead cross‑functional product development from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and real customer needs. The position offers the opportunity to shape the portfolio, partner with sales and distribution, and bring impactful products to market.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new products that address unmet consumer needs and lift satisfaction.
- Lead moderately to complex product development projects, delivering high quality through innovation.
- Perform consumer research to refine categories and better meet market needs.
- Refresh the assigned product portfolio regularly to stay aligned with consumer demand and brand guidelines.
- Direct a cross‑functional team through the product development process, coordinating with sourcing, operations, engineering, and materials.
- Ensure a well‑rounded development approach that considers environmental factors, regulatory requirements, competitors, trends, and unmet needs.
- Collaborate with marketing to support new product introductions, including packaging, artwork, promotions, and sales materials for retail readiness.
- Manage target consumer mix to maximize sales and optimize profitability.
- Maintain cost efficiency across product development, manufacturing, and fulfillment.
- Develop and monitor project plans with timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Create and execute product strategies aligned with the brand and segment; analyze POS, sales data, and margins against forecasts, adjusting to maximize ROI.
- Oversee the product lifecycle for one or more products or categories, including SKU rationalization and end‑of‑life disposition.
- Stay current on industry and consumer trends and build strong partnerships with sales and distribution channels.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least three years of marketing experience in the consumer products industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of product development, management, and branding.
- Familiarity with consumer research methodologies and marketing concepts, strategies, and practices.
- Knowledge of the product development lifecycle from concept to point of sale.
- Proficiency with PC software including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, plus experience with Stage Gate and product development tools.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate multiple teams.
- Leadership skills with the ability to engage teams toward shared goals.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented problem‑solving and financial budgeting acumen.
- Clear verbal and written communication in English and solid business acumen in the consumer products space.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Commitment to regular, predictable attendance.
