Product Manager

Valitana LLC is building analytics capabilities for institutional clients, and the Analytics product team is looking for a Product Manager to help define and deliver new functionality. In this hybrid role based in Plano, TX, you will translate client and market needs across structured credit, trade flow, and portfolio performance into clear product work that engineering can ship.

What you will do

• Produce detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for analytics feature development and enhancements.
• Collect and synthesize requirements from clients, client services, and internal stakeholders to identify product opportunities.
• Work with engineering and data teams across the development lifecycle, including scoping and design, QA, and release.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in line with the product roadmap and business objectives.
• Validate analytics output accuracy and underlying market data, partnering with data teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in client-facing moments such as product demos, feedback sessions, and release communications.
• Track product usage and client feedback to evaluate impact and guide future iterations.
• Stay current on developments in fixed income, loan, and structured credit markets that influence client needs.

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional work experience in a role related to Math, Engineering, Finance, or Financial Operations.
• Client-facing experience is required.
• Proven ability writing product specifications, business requirements documents, or user stories.
• Familiarity with fixed income and credit products, including bonds and loans.
• Ability to understand complex concepts in structured finance products.
• Excel proficiency, including advanced functions and data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Resourceful, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary range: $100,000 – $135,000 per year.
