Job Description
This Product Manager II role at News Corp focuses on driving the rollout of enhancements and new products and features for Barron’s. The position is on-site in New York, NY.

Compensation
USD 130,000 - 150,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across teams to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to establish a go-to-market plan for new offerings.
- Collaborate to optimize Barron’s subscriber offerings and envision new premium features.
- Author product requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria for features, tasks, and bugs using JIRA.
- Engage with research teams to gather audience insights and feedback to inform product development.
- Work closely with software engineers and UX designers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and measure OKRs to track progress and impact.
- Collaborate with other Dow Jones product managers to deploy shared capabilities.
- Partner with editors to ensure they have the publishing tools necessary for content delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, align roadmaps, set timelines, and coordinate launches.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective meetings.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of product management experience.
- Experience developing and launching digital subscription products, preferably paid content.
- Passion and knowledge of digital media and investing.
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Parsely, and Google Analytics.
- Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research to inform product requirements.
- Experience defining and implementing product requirements for consumer-facing websites and mobile apps.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Proven ability to partner with a technology organization.
- Highly strategic while remaining detail-oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
