Job Description
Join PNC’s Onboarding Strategy and Communications team and help shape customer onboarding experiences across Retail Lending. This onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA focuses on building early engagement strategies, aligning messaging across channels, and using insights to improve outcomes over time. You will collaborate across functions to support consistency and efficiency in customer communications, while contributing to measurable business, financial, and customer experience results.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver onboarding and early engagement strategies across Retail Lending products
- Identify customer friction points across the lifecycle and work toward solutions
- Define messaging, communication strategy, and early engagement processes across communication assets to encourage key customer behaviors
- Establish best practices and alignment across business lines
- Apply knowledge of emerging communication trends and technology to improve execution
- Monitor and evaluate key changes tied to business set OKRs and KPIs
- Use results from A/B testing, client surveys, and feedback to inform prioritization decisions
- Review, analyze, and support initiatives related to the selection, design, development, and promotion of new or existing products using traditional and emerging technology, operations, and data analytics
- Participate in customer-focused quality assessments and improvement processes, and support business case, business plan, and rollout for less complex initiatives
- Analyze product, technology, and market trends and third-party requirements to design innovative features or enhancements
- Manage development, production, rollout, pricing, or promotion for less complex products or initiatives, including resolving operational and process issues
- Partner with internal and external teams such as sales, marketing, and digital channel delivery, and may support client-facing activities
- Support risk management, compliance, and audit needs as part of the first line of defense
- Monitor business results for recently introduced or existing products, coordinate reporting, and recommend modifications to improve outcomes
- Drive business, financial, and customer experience results for less complex products and initiatives, including recommendations to improve product features and/or marketing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience, with the ability to execute timely deliverables while collaborating with multiple partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with customer-first mindset
- Experience reviewing and interpreting data to drive direction of change and innovation
- Strong organizational skills, process-oriented approach, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration strengths as a subject matter expert and an influencer with a passion for customer-centric solutions
- Process and decision-making capabilities supported by business acumen, critical thinking, and innovation
- Typical requirement: a university or college degree; alternatively, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered
How the team supports onboarding
The Onboarding group within the Engagement Strategy and Communications team develops customer-centric engagement and communication strategies that help customers onboard, engage with, and deepen relationships across Retail Lending products and services. This role supports communications and engagement strategy throughout the onboarding lifecycle by identifying, delivering, and maintaining communications across platforms and marketing assets, working across functions to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment.

Pay transparency
Base Salary: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year. Salaries may vary by geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
