Product Manager - Partnerships
Job Description
Capital One is building modern, cloud-based experiences and upgrading how partnerships credit card products are delivered across its enterprise platforms. In this role in Chicago, IL (onsite), you will work with external partners to enable private label and co-branded credit cards, while raising the bar on the platform capabilities that power the customer and partner experience.
What you’ll do
- Support modernization efforts across enterprise platforms tied to Partnerships
- Lead portfolio conversions as part of partnerships and product evolution
- Automate data mapping tasks to improve speed and reduce manual work
- Ensure products offered to partners and customers meet the highest possible standards
- Help define the destination state for how enterprise platforms will support the Partnerships business
- Advance Capital One’s technology direction by moving away from mainframes and toward modern, cloud-based solutions
- Define destination-state requirements for key features including product setup, promotional financing, portfolio conversions, and data mapping
- Improve products and processes by identifying opportunities for automation and other enhancements
What you’ll bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or Business/Marketing
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

You will bring those principles to modernization work, destination-state definition, and process improvements that reduce risk and improve outcomes.
Compensation and incentives
Salary (Chicago, IL onsite): USD 149,800 - 171,000 per year (Manager, Product Management range for Chicago).
This role is also eligible for performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
