Manager - Joining Product Operations
Job Description
Provide operational leadership across Capital One’s recruiting technology ecosystem, ensuring stable production, strong user enablement, and compliant data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution for core operational deliverables and system processes that do not require direct Product or Tech engineering bandwidth.
- Set up reporting, SLA tracking, and operational visibility across production workflows to align with broader business priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production escalations, diagnosing issues and driving cross-functional resolution.
- Partner with Product Management to stay synchronized with product roadmaps and maintain operational readiness for new feature rollouts.
- Modernize and maintain user-facing documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and self-serve resources to improve searchability, accuracy, and depth.
- Develop, update, and maintain training frameworks and learning assets for recruiting teams, hiring managers, and operations staff.
- Manage third-party technology vendor relationships across the recruiting ecosystem to uphold performance standards, enforce SLAs, and ensure reliable data access.
- Ensure platform compliance with internal risk management standards and external legal and regulatory requirements across talent acquisition data pipelines and vendor integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in product operations, business operations, tech operations, or process management.
- At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining user documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, or release communications.
- At least 2 years of experience managing enterprise software platforms, vendor operations, or system workflows.
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing operational data or system metrics to inform business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition operations, HR technology, or enterprise recruitment systems (e.g., Workday, Phenom, ATS/CRM tools).
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including partnering with Product, Tech, Risk/Legal, and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with process improvement frameworks, Agile methodologies, or project management practices.
- Experience building data visualizations or reporting dashboards (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, Excel) to track operational health and SLAs.

- USD 151,900 - 173,400 per year
- McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400
- Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700
- Pay range for other locations will follow local ranges, and the final annualized salary is reflected in the offer letter.

- Performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
