Product Manager - Product Information Management (PIM)
Job Description
Cayuse Holdings is hiring a Product Manager to lead Product Information Management (PIM) product strategy and execution in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA. This contract position focuses on building and improving the capabilities that ensure product data is structured, governed, enriched, and delivered to downstream digital commerce channels.
You will own the PIM domain roadmap and partner with engineering for day-to-day delivery, translating business needs into clear product requirements and backlog items. The role also emphasizes measurable product data quality outcomes and understanding how PIM impacts downstream experiences like search, finders, configuration, and product submittals.
What you’ll do
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Product Information Management (PIM) domain.
- Partner closely with engineering teams on day-to-day execution of the PIM roadmap.
- Define and prioritize product enhancements based on business needs, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Manage product information capabilities across:
- Product attributes and specifications
- Product taxonomy and classification
- Product data enrichment workflows
- Product content governance
- Product data quality and completeness
- Syndication of product information to downstream channels
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, engineering, sales, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Translate business challenges and operational friction into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with the product roadmap.
- Work with engineering and QA teams through development, testing, and release cycles.
- Establish and monitor product data quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assess downstream impact of product data quality across:
- Product search
- Product finders
- Product configuration
- Product submittals
- Digital catalogs and other customer-facing channels
- Identify opportunities to improve product-data workflows, automation, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Communicate roadmap priorities, delivery progress, dependencies, and business outcomes to stakeholders.
What you bring
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or Product Owner working with PIM, Product Master Data, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Experience owning or managing a PIM platform involving product attributes, taxonomy, enrichment, workflows, and downstream syndication.
- Strong understanding of product data quality, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Experience developing and managing product roadmaps and backlogs.
- Demonstrated ability partnering closely with software engineering teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements and operational challenges into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with enterprise PIM platforms such as Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica PIM, Stibo Systems, Pimcore, or similar solutions.
- Experience integrating PIM with e-commerce, CRM, ERP, DAM, CPQ, search, or other downstream platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, B2B commerce, or product-centric organizations.
- Understanding of digital commerce and product discovery experiences.
- Experience defining KPIs related to product data quality, completeness, enrichment, adoption, and downstream consumption.
