Product Manager - Tech, Neighbors
Job Description
This AI-native product manager - technical (builder) on the Neighbors team will own and drive the community features Search Party, Fire Watch, and Community Requests, while defining AI-native standards across discovery, prototyping, and delivery. This onsite role is based in Hawthorne, CA, with a salary range of USD 129,200 to 174,800 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Neighbors product roadmap for features such as Search Party, Community Requests, and Fire Watch, shaping the vision, strategy, and priorities.
- Define and deliver AI and ML powered features to enhance real-time community coordination.
- Leverage AI-native tools and approaches to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, and validation.
- Identify friction points in community engagement and response workflows through data analysis, and drive product solutions that remove them.
- Collaborate across engineering, data science, UX design, and community operations to ship features from concept to launch.
- Create clear product requirements documents, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Analyze customer behavior, engagement metrics, and community outcomes to inform prioritization and measure feature success.
Requirements
- Experience collaborating with engineering and technical teams to build automated solutions.
- Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your products.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experiences.
- Demonstrated experience using LLMs and AI tools for data analysis, process improvement, strategy definition, or prototyping.
