Product Manager, Technical: Responsible AI

Own product leadership for Responsible AI evaluation and AI transparency standards, partnering across legal, privacy, and Applied AI to deliver fair, safe, and transparent AI outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Responsible AI evaluation framework and program and the AI transparency and disclosure standard by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business and technical goals
• Drive market and customer research to surface opportunities and inform product decisions using data analysis and customer feedback, including Responsible AI frameworks and regulatory requirements provided by Legal
• Convert product strategy into detailed features and user stories, maintaining and prioritizing a product backlog that supports Agile development teams
• Own evaluation test and benchmark planning, collaborating with AI engineers to support evaluation tests and benchmarks that are built and run
• Coordinate release schedules with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, including Legal, Privacy, and the Applied AI design authority
• Monitor production performance and product quality, triaging defects and driving continuous improvement
• Track Responsible AI evaluation findings through closure with system owners, ensuring learnings are resolved and documented
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR an Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
• Required: Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience
• Required: 3+ years in a hands-on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in a large-scale company or application/product environment
• Required: 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an Agile software product development environment

• Working knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework covering fairness and bias, explainability, transparency, and harmful output
• Experience with AI used in regulated decision areas such as employment, credit, or insurance, working alongside Legal, Privacy, or compliance

• Salary: USD 103,400 - 214,360 per year
• National base pay range: USD 103,400 - 186,400
