Product Operations Coordinator
Job Description
The Product Operations Coordinator supports end-to-end packaging development and execution across categories and product lines, partnering with cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned to brand standards, sustainability, regulatory needs, and go-to-market timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support packaging development from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Define and manage critical paths tied to go-to-market schedules, coordinating across departments to hit milestones
- Track project progress, surface risks early, and implement contingency plans to reduce delays and issues
- Support the packaging briefing process by translating brand strategy and product requirements into clear, actionable briefs for internal creative teams and external agencies
- Serve as a point of contact with creative agencies and artworkers to develop packaging concepts that are visually compelling and on brand
- Coordinate artwork creation, revisions, and approvals to maintain consistency across SKUs and markets
- Support artwork systems by ensuring files are properly built, versioned, and stored
- Partner with the Raw Materials Team to maintain a packaging library including specifications, samples, and historical data for reference and reuse
- Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, Design and PD, and Retail teams to align packaging with product specs, consumer insights, and commercial goals
- Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to maintain alignment, resolve blockers, and keep projects moving
- Work with raw materials and compliance teams regionally and globally to ensure packaging meets environmental, social, and regulatory standards, including certifications and corporate responsibility guidelines
- Help refine internal workflows that support efficient packaging development and approvals
- Assist with implementing systems and tools that improve visibility, tracking, and reporting across packaging projects
- Troubleshoot asset management and workflow systems, resolving exceptions to keep operations running smoothly
- Support packaging budgets, including artwork development and production costs
- Prioritize resource needs across projects, identify time-saving opportunities, and support project accountability
- Provide ongoing stakeholder updates on project status, risks, and milestones
- Document packaging specifications and packaging insights testing results
- When needed, help orchestrate consumer or retail insights projects tied to packaging changes so updates are informed by insight
- Communicate packaging strategy developments to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Requirements
- 2-3 years of project coordination experience, preferably in packaging, retail, apparel, or FMCG
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- High organization with attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Understanding of digital asset management systems and artwork setup
- Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Technical knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, sustainable packaging practices, and relevant regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-first, high-energy environment with a positive, can-do, customer-focused attitude
