Product Operations Specialist | Generalist
Job Description
Ramp is looking for a Product Operations Specialist to join its Product Operations team and help keep delivery dependable as the company scales. In this role, you will own operations for a meaningful product area while partnering across product, engineering, design, data, customer-facing teams, and external vendors to support data-driven planning, smoother launches, and faster incident resolution.
You will operate at the intersection of Ramp’s FinTech product work and the operational realities required to serve a rapidly scaling customer base. The focus is on building predictable processes, turning customer and performance signals into actionable insights, and ensuring releases land with the right documentation and context across the organization.
What you’ll do
- Act as a voice of the customer within your product space by connecting day-to-day customer experience to product and engineering teams and surfacing insights that support thinking beyond current product boundaries.
- Lead meaningful company-wide initiatives that help Ramp prepare for larger scale, building predictable, reliable processes for Ramp teams, customers, and partners.
- Develop high-leverage product analytics and conduct data analysis to identify opportunities to improve performance, quality, and product intuitiveness.
- Support flawless releases through documentation, enablement, and sharing the right context across the organization.
- Help drive fast resolution of product bugs and issues by contributing to tools and processes used for incident identification and resolution.
- Manage operational relationships with relevant partners and vendors, including negotiating service agreements and performing joint performance assessments.
What you bring
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in product management, product operations, or strategy & operations roles, ideally in a fast-growing business.
- Experience driving fast, successful execution of complex initiatives that require coordination across many teams.
- A track record of seeking root causes to arrive at enduring, high-impact solutions.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative feedback to create product recommendations.
- Experience working directly with customers or clients through feedback requests and/or user research interviews.
- Experience leveling up teammates with constructive feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including tailoring messages for different audiences.
- Ability to translate data into insights and action, including experience querying SQL.
- Comfort in ambiguity, with a track record of charting your own path.

Location and compensation
- Location: New York, NY (onsite)
- Compensation range: USD 128,000 - 180,000 per year
