Product Owner

Matlen Silver is hiring a hands-on Product Owner to guide an Agile team delivering AI-enabled products and translating business needs into build-ready requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for a Scrum team, setting product vision, priorities, and direction
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap, epics, and user stories
• Partner with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
• Work directly with engineering teams to understand technical challenges, implementation tradeoffs, and solution options
• Convert business goals into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Use AI tools and identify opportunities to incorporate AI into products and business workflows
• Build strong business and product knowledge to act as a trusted resource for the development team
• Lead backlog refinement, iteration planning, story elaboration, and other Agile ceremonies
• Remove roadblocks and maintain the clarity and direction needed for successful delivery

Requirements

• Prior Product Owner experience in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Technical fluency and comfort working directly with software engineering teams
• Hands-on experience using AI tools or working with AI-enabled products
• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, communication, and leadership
• Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and proactively seek information

Location and Work Arrangement

• Location: Alpharetta, GA (hybrid)
• Schedule: Hybrid with 3+ days onsite per week

Contract Details

• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
• Pay: USD 55–60 per hour
