Product Owner
Job Description
Lead the tactical execution for BI product delivery, working alongside the Product Manager from development through post-launch support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams to keep work aligned with key product milestones and customer commitments.
- Create integrated project plans across functional groups to support major milestone execution in partnership with the Product Manager.
- Partner with the Product Manager and product teams to ensure qualification criteria are met at each stage of the product life cycle: development, alpha, beta, manufacturing transfer and ramp, and EOL.
- Triage customer issues and requests from the ticketing system and ad hoc channels, then route items to the appropriate teams based on Product Manager priorities.
- Use a product life cycle management tool to maintain documentation aligned with standards and regulatory compliance.
- Identify recurring issue patterns and maintain Pareto tracking of major issues.
- Track and regularly report progress on resolution of major customer issues.
- Coordinate rollout activities for new product testing, validation, and ongoing support after product launch.
- Participate in product development meetings as needed.
- Participate in manufacturing meetings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering/Technical field or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in product engineering or product management in computer or software markets.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for travel to customer sites and conferences.
- Ability to receive client approval to work on contract.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must live in the United States 3 of the last 5 years (military service and study abroad accepted).
- Product Owner certification preferred.
- Experience with product development and release to market preferred.
- Understanding of product life cycle management.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with technical product services support.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of product management techniques and practices.
- Strong organizational skills and good writing skills.
- Ability to work with computers and the department’s required software.

Pay
