Job Description

At Corin Group, the Technology Product Owner plays a central role in delivering product applications for the Apollo surgical platform. This onsite position in Raynham, MA helps cross-functional teams turn market and clinical needs into well-planned development priorities, with clear alignment across Engineering, Marketing, and Quality & Regulatory to support delivery of the right product at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the product value roadmap as well as the feature backlog.
  • Convert customer, clinical, and business needs into product requirements and traceable User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize development work based on regulatory and commercial objectives.
  • Lead sprint backlog prioritization together with the Technical Project Manager.
  • Ensure development milestones are aligned with regulatory submission plans.
  • Coordinate how post-market feedback is incorporated for commercial products.
  • Make product-level cross-functional decisions, including trade-offs, scope, and timing.
  • Provide executive leadership with updates on product progress and risks.
  • Partner with other Product Owners and Systems Engineering to maintain system-level coherence.
  • Support risk management, participate in design reviews, and drive technical investigations.
  • Follow established procedures so all system components, processes, and documentation meet relevant medical device regulations and standards, including ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and U.S. Title 21 CFR 820.
  • Some domestic and/or international travel may be required to support clinical engagement and cross-site collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in product design or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a dynamic medical device product management role, ideally in the orthopaedic field.
  • Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role.
  • CSPO certification.
  • Good understanding of hardware and software engineering design principles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, plus strong presentation and public speaking ability.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and attention to quality.

Purpose

The Technology Product Owner guides cross-functional teams in the successful creation of product applications built for the Apollo surgical platform. The role owns the product value roadmap and development priorities, ensuring alignment between market needs, clinical requirements, regulatory milestones, and engineering execution. By working closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Quality & Regulatory, the Product Owner helps ensure the right product is delivered at the right time.
