Product Owner

Taulia is hiring a Product Owner to define and drive the product vision for integrations with customers across multiple accounting platforms. This role manages end-to-end ownership for roadmap and backlog within document lifecycle and compliance domains, partnering closely with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable enterprise outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day product work and collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and engineering teams to build scalable, compliant enterprise products.
• Work with engineering and business partners to develop deep domain expertise across core platform services and compliance products.
• Own the product backlog end-to-end for document lifecycle and compliance, including roadmap, prioritisation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Lead product initiatives to ensure the platform aligns with evolving global regulatory and compliance standards.
• Create clear, detailed product specifications for new features to remove blockers for engineering execution.
• Develop user stories, create API specifications and mockups, and identify metrics for new feature outcomes.
• Produce complete documentation and deliver enablement to internal stakeholders to support product adoption.
• Execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities, search functionality, and related compliance products.
• Understand how Taulia Working Capital solutions create value for customers, and ensure delivery includes both incremental and net-new value.
• Define meaningful business objectives and metrics to track progress and measure feature success.
• Serve as a strong internal voice for the team by communicating feature releases and managing stakeholder expectations across the organization.
• Support rollouts of new solutions or features, including stakeholder communication and training.
• Partner with engineering on technical tradeoffs that have product implications, such as framework upgrades and system modernization, and communicate those tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for platform, invoicing, or compliance-driven products within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Deep domain expertise in document lifecycle management and global compliance regulations.
• Experience driving discovery and prioritisation when requirements originate from compliance, legal, or partner organizations.
• Strong technical literacy, including the ability to translate complex architectural requirements into product value and collaborate with engineering on technical decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive results in a global, distributed environment by collaborating effectively across multiple time zones and stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, supply chain finance, or enterprise B2B is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
• Salary: USD 140,000 - 150,000 per year
