Product Owner Credit & Data Platforms

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shaping and executing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver features successfully.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to reflect current priorities.
• Craft detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development.
• Lead agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Validate work through User Acceptance Testing to confirm stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
• Engage with customers to discuss usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to prototype features, run A/B tests, and validate designs with end users.
• Address issues in existing features and implement solutions informed by customer feedback.
• Track and analyze product performance metrics, focusing on adoption, team productivity, and feature impact, driving improvements at the squad level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years in product management, product development, or a related role.
• Technical proficiency with Agile methodologies; experience using product management tools such as Jira or Trello; solid understanding of software development; working knowledge of APIs and system integration. AI experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach; familiarity with performance metrics like DORA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for addressing user needs.
• Preferred experience in financial information services; familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking; experience working with remote teams.

About the Team

CreditSights seeks a Product Owner to drive the development and success of our product offerings. You will work closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to shepherd the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, applying solid product management principles and a focus on delivering excellent user experiences.

Location and Compensation

New York, NY with a hybrid work schedule requiring 2 to 3 days in the office per week, depending on business needs and location.

Base pay ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year. Actual salaries are determined on an individual basis and may vary based on education, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is part of Fitch’s total compensation, which may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
