Product Owner with Payments Experience

This Product Owner role focuses on payments, with ownership of an agile product backlog and direct involvement in transitioning from legacy wire architectures to modern payment rails. You will partner with business stakeholders, compliance, and IT delivery teams to ensure deliverables meet agreed acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

Compensation

• USD 140,000 per year

Role Summary

You will manage and prioritize an agile product backlog and lead the transition from legacy wire architectures to modern payment rails such as ISO 20022 and FedNow. The role also serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, compliance, and the teams delivering IT work.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, groom, and prioritize the agile product backlog using tools such as JIRA.
• Define clear user stories and establish acceptance criteria for planned work.
• Oversee the transition from legacy wire architectures to modern payment rails, including ISO 20022 and FedNow.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, compliance officers, and IT delivery teams.
• Review and accept Agile deliverables, ensuring specified acceptance criteria and compliance standards are met prior to release.
