Product Owner with Payments Experience
Job Description
Realign LLC is hiring a Product Owner with payments experience in Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX (onsite). This role supports the delivery of modern payment capabilities by shaping the agile product backlog, defining user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and guiding a transition from legacy wire architectures to newer payment rails such as ISO 20022 and FedNow.
Compensation: $140,000 per year. Minimum experience: 10 years.
What you’ll do
- Own, groom, and prioritize the agile product backlog, using tools such as JIRA.
- Define user stories and ensure they include clear acceptance criteria for delivery readiness.
- Oversee the transition from legacy wire architectures to modern payment rails, including ISO 20022 and FedNow.
- Serve as the primary liaison connecting business stakeholders, compliance officers, and IT delivery teams.
- Review and accept Agile deliverables, confirming specified acceptance criteria and compliance standards are met prior to release.
