Product Owner - Dealer Websites

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is building and rolling out capabilities for its Dealer Websites program, and the Product Owner plays a central role in shaping what gets delivered and when. This position combines stakeholder collaboration with product ownership to turn dealer and customer needs into clear requirements, a managed backlog, and solutions designed to work consistently across the dealer network.

Role overview

As the Product Owner for Dealer Websites, you will define, prioritize, and deliver product capabilities and business features for the program. In the execution phase, you will work closely with dealers, business stakeholders, UX, engineering, and product management to translate business needs into actionable requirements, manage the product backlog, and support delivery of value to dealers and customers. The role involves regular engagement with leadership and ongoing coordination across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery of dealer website templates that support dealer-specific content
• Define and deliver content syndication from the next-generation corporate website to dealer sites
• Own requirements for dealer authoring capabilities, enabling dealers to manage their own site content
• Lead requirements for system integrations, including leads, service requests, and an AI-powered assistant
• Accelerate delivery and dealer adoption while maintaining a scalable and consistent experience across the dealer network
• Reduce delivery risk and support a successful program rollout

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Agile product development practices
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
• Experience supporting software testing, validation, and release activities
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education & experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in this capacity; or
• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a digital product or software development environment, with no degree

Location & schedule

This role is based in Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule. Hybrid work includes in-office time for workshops, meetings, and working sessions. Team members may work onsite every day if desired.

Compensation & benefits

Salary: $125,000 to $130,000 per year.
