Job Description

PDI Technologies, Inc. offers an entry-level path into product ownership with hands-on exposure across the full product lifecycle. In this hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA, you will learn directly from experienced product leaders while partnering with cross-functional teams to help shape products from concept through delivery. You will also work with modern tooling and AI initiatives, supporting teams as they refine requirements, plan releases, and improve user experience.

What you’ll do

You’ll work closely with Product Managers to understand product strategy, priorities, and customer needs, then help translate business requirements into practical outputs. This includes drafting and refining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, with support from AI tools such as Claude. You will also help build reusable prompt templates for recurring tasks like story generation and refinement preparation.

As part of the Agile cadence, you will participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. You will collaborate with engineering, design, support, and business teams to ensure the backlog stays clear and current, and you will help gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to surface opportunities for improvement.

Your role also supports delivery execution and quality. You will assist with release planning and help set expectations for new functionality, test new capabilities, validate solutions against business requirements, and confirm completed stories meet the team’s definition of done. You will track product performance and help identify ways to enhance the user experience. You will document processes, workflows, and product requirements to support shared understanding across teams.

What you bring

  • Exposure to tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, or other productivity technologies.
  • Interest in prompt engineering, including writing clear, context-rich prompts and iterating to improve AI-generated stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including translating between technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to create user journeys, wireframes, and basic diagrams to convey ideas.
