Job Description

Context: Vice President product management for Wholesale Credit Risk at JPMorgan Chase, onsite in Jersey City, responsible for building a platform to modernize wholesale credit risk, defining direction, success metrics, governance, and delivering high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to map use cases, pain points, and industry trends
  • Partner with solution architects and technologists to shape design, integrations, and delivery strategy
  • Set product strategy, articulate the vision, and maintain a prioritized roadmap of enhancements and new capabilities
  • Lead discovery and research to surface customer problems and translate insights into product opportunities
  • Gather and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to align teams on success definitions
  • Define product success metrics and monitor performance to guide prioritization and iterations
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and drive delivery to produce timely, high-quality releases
  • Present product demos and conduct reviews to capture feedback and improve outcomes
  • Coordinate release management and ensure issues are tracked, prioritized, and resolved promptly
  • Validate features meet specifications through testing support, stakeholder reviews, and readiness checks
  • Conduct governance reviews and implement plans for continuous service improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
  • At least 7 years of product management, product development, or closely related experience
  • Proven experience in process re-engineering or transformation initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level materials
  • Ability to lead through influence, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrix organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • High initiative, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly under pressure
  • Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive prioritization and decisions
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, platform design, software architecture, and data analytics
  • Working knowledge of system and software architecture concepts including services, integrations, data flows, data models, and APIs
