The Senior Product Manager will lead performance, growth, and lifecycle management for the Air Cooled Magnetic Bearing portfolio supporting data center and mechanical cooling infrastructure. This is a fast-paced, onsite role based in Grand Rapids, MI.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the rapid-growth product team, translating customer needs into current and future offerings, features, and requests.
- Provide on-site support for in-line operations, participating in plant and engineering MDIs to drive daily improvements.
- Lead New Product Development launches as part of the core team through the gate process and operational start-up to meet market requirements.
- Support the development of product strategy and go-to-market plans to drive growth.
- Deliver day-to-day operational support to Portfolio Leadership, Mission Critical teams, and Product Support groups to address inquiries, product issues, and emerging needs.
- Plan, host, and support customer witness testing events to demonstrate performance and align with customer expectations.
- Create and maintain product literature, including catalogs, brochures, and application guides, ensuring accuracy with current offerings.
- Serve as the primary contact for Quality to investigate issues, support corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Assist pricing management using pricing tools to enhance competitiveness and margin performance.
- Participate in customer site visits to gather insights, observe product performance, and support relationship-building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, marketing, engineering, operations, or related functions.
- Experience in a customer experience or sales account management role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
