Job Description

Deloitte offers a hybrid, remote-friendly working model and an agentic AI platform designed to deliver role- and function-specific products. As a Senior Consultant Product Manager for Sourcing & Procurement, you will lead an agentic product area end-to-end, helping teams define measurable outcomes, ensure trustworthy behavior, and drive adoption with procurement practitioners and stakeholders.

Location: Tampa, FL (hybrid)
Compensation: USD 116,200 - 229,100 per yearly
Experience: 5+ years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field

What you’ll own

You will take ownership of delivery for a defined sourcing and procurement product/agent area, contributing to product vision, strategy, and a 12-18 month roadmap led by the Product Lead. You will connect discovery and delivery by defining success metrics, shaping the backlog, and aligning stakeholders across engineering, data, design, and risk.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of the sourcing and procurement product/agent area, contributing to product strategy and roadmap planning.
  • Define and track KPIs tied to procurement efficiency, cost reduction, and supplier performance; use data to refine direction and retire low-value work.
  • Drive features that support end-to-end procurement workflows, including requisition, sourcing and RFx, contract management, supplier onboarding and collaboration, and purchase-to-pay.
  • Translate business needs into measurable outcomes by identifying high-value use cases, mapping workflows, and defining “jobs to be done.”
  • Apply deep procurement domain knowledge (direct/indirect sourcing, RFx, spend analytics, supplier management, P2P) to lead product decisions.
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis across procurement platforms to uncover unmet needs and opportunities.
  • Partner directly with procurement practitioners, category managers, and finance stakeholders to prioritize solutions based on pain points.
  • Run discovery (research, prototypes, Alphas) through delivery (MVP to scale), managing scope, tradeoffs, and dependencies across engineering, data, and design.
  • Create PRDs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams for agent behaviors, tool integrations, and user experiences.
  • Maintain a well-prioritized backlog, run sprint planning, track progress, remove blockers, and keep stakeholders aligned through clear decision points.
  • Define agent capabilities, human-in-the-loop patterns, and escalation/exception handling for procurement workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data on requirements for connectors, data access patterns, security/privacy, logging/auditability, and integration with enterprise procurement and ERP systems.
  • Work with risk, compliance, and cybersecurity on model governance, safety, monitoring, explainability, bias, and audit requirements aligned to the Trustworthy AI™ framework.
  • Coordinate with sales, alliances, and delivery to package offerings, build demos, and support pursuits, pilots, and launches, contributing inputs to pricing and packaging.
  • Use AI to accelerate domain research, synthesize supplier and spend-data insights, and prototype and validate workflow improvements.
  • Test assumptions early, retire low-value ideas quickly, and focus the team on high-impact improvements for procurement operations.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field (examples include engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, or finance).
  • 5-8 years of product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, platforms, or data products, including shipping products or major features from concept to launch.
  • Ability to own delivery of a product area with competing priorities and shared platform dependencies.
  • Experience delivering products involving AI/ML (GenAI preferred), including evaluation, monitoring, and iteration loops.
  • Strong command of product discovery and delivery, including research, hypothesis testing, experimentation, requirements, backlog, and release management.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, eventing, identity/SSO, role-based access control, data pipelines).
  • Experience partnering with engineering, design, data science, and risk/compliance teams in regulated or high-stakes environments.
  • Exposure to procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, with the ability to build domain depth quickly.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication, including writing crisp narratives, PRDs, and decision memos.
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

How success is measured

  • Adoption: active users, repeat usage, workflow completion rates, and feature utilization.
  • Business impact: cycle-time reduction, cost-to-serve and spend reductions, and improved supplier performance or exception-resolution time.
  • Quality & reliability: task success rate, low rework/rollback rates, latency/uptime targets, and healthy incident trends.
  • Trust & compliance: audit readiness, policy adherence, reduction in high-severity model risks, and successful governance reviews.
  • Delivery excellence: roadmap predictability, on-time releases, stakeholder satisfaction, and fewer dependency blockers.
  • Customer outcomes: pilot-to-scale conversion and referenceable wins.
