Job Description

The Senior Operations Program Manager in Product Operations partners with cross-disciplinary teams to plan, build, and scale consumer product experiences, with a focus on hardware development from early concept through launch and ongoing support.

Location and Employment Details

  • Location: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)
  • Compensation: USD 171,000 - 231,300 per year
  • Experience: 5+ years required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field

Summary of the Role

This role conceives, designs, and develops innovative consumer products by coordinating end-to-end execution. The program manager ensures successful launches, supports continued product performance, and drives ongoing improvements across processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver results on complex projects involving cross-functional teams across Amazon
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and product definition
  • Influence new product design and architecture through contributions to product planning
  • Assess current system capabilities and limitations to inform program decisions
  • Problem solve to explore solutions for existing processes and systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver a quality product on time and within cost targets
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor supply and fulfillment of devices
  • Some travel may be required

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field
  • Experience applying program management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
  • Experience owning program strategy, leading end-to-end delivery, and communicating outcomes to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related technical field

This team is focused on launching personalized devices that delight customers and generate additional revenue for Amazon. The group provides product operations leadership and collaborates across functions. As supply chain partners to the broader Amazon Devices organization, the team works together to shape product roadmaps and guide portfolio direction.
