Senior Product Manager - Okta Identity Governance

Okta is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Okta Identity Governance (OIG) to advance its identity governance product. This hybrid role in Washington, DC focuses on customer engagement, product strategy, roadmap execution, and leading a scrum team to deliver key features.

Role Overview

In this position, you will help define and execute the OIG roadmap while shaping product strategy and vision for the identity governance product area. You will also act as a thought leader, aligning internal execution with customer needs and communicating differentiation across the market.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand pain points across governance, compliance, and access management, then translate those insights into opportunities for Okta
• Define and execute the roadmap for the Okta Identity Governance platform
• Set product strategy and vision for your product area and communicate the direction to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop the product roadmap with the prioritization trade-offs needed to execute the product vision
• Lead a scrum team of engineers and deliver key features with high quality against communicated timelines
• Serve as a thought leader by staying current on innovations and the competitive landscape in identity governance
• Work with Product Marketing to articulate Okta’s differentiation versus market alternatives for the product area

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in Enterprise SaaS or IaaS
• Experience building phased roadmaps for complex or abstract initiatives and executing them to deliver customer value
• Customer-obsessed approach with an owner mindset, driving toward outcomes through curiosity and team spirit
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Okta and how Okta technology supports Identity Governance and Access Management
• Practical familiarity with identity governance concepts including access certifications, entitlement management, role-based access control (RBAC), and separation of duties; experience with SCIM and SAML is a plus
• Awareness of the identity governance competitive landscape, including offerings such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID Governance, and other IGA and PAM providers

Location and Compensation

Location: Washington, DC (hybrid)

Compensation: USD 189,000 - 260,000 per year
