Senior Staff Product Manager

Own product strategy and commercial outcomes for project44’s Last Mile e-commerce business from our Chicago HQ.

Responsibilities

• Define and own product vision, market strategy, and a multi-quarter roadmap for Last Mile e-commerce
• Drive growth outcomes measured by pipeline, revenue, adoption, and retention
• Lead customer discovery and validation with US-based enterprise and retail accounts; turn insights into clear, prioritized direction
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, competitive strategy, and enablement
• Participate directly in strategic deals, QBRs, and executive conversations
• Translate strategy into clear, shippable requirements for the Bengaluru-based Product Manager and the Engineering and Design teams they support
• Influence across product, engineering, and go-to-market without direct authority by aligning stakeholders and surfacing trade-offs
• Raise product craft standards through mentoring PMs and setting how the org works
• Own how the product reaches the market: positioning and messaging, pricing and packaging, enablement and deal support, and adoption/expansion motion with Customer Success
• Carry Last Mile ARR accountability using pipeline, win rate, net retention, and expansion as metrics
• Partner closely with the Product Manager in Bengaluru to focus on strategy, positioning, and growth for the last-mile delivery experience
• Cover bets from carrier integration and tracking through the post-purchase customer journey
• Keep commitments, dependencies, and trade-offs visible across time zones by translating priorities into requirements and next steps
• Translate strategy into clear, prioritized bets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline that helped you build technology skills (computer science to business)
• 10+ years of Product Management leadership, including experience building enterprise SaaS
• Experience building and driving roadmaps grounded in customer needs with incremental delivery
• Experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers
• Product and user empathy with a focus on creating customer and user value
• Ability to self-manage with strong autonomy
• Detail oriented with the ability to context switch from implementation guidance to company-level presentations
• May require travel to global project44, customer, and partner locations
• Senior product experience in last mile, logistics, transportation visibility, or e-commerce fulfillment (consumer delivery experience is a plus)
• Track record of setting product strategy in ambiguous spaces and driving commercial results (not only feature delivery)
• Customer instinct: comfortable leading US enterprise conversations independently and representing product to executives, customers, and prospects
• Demonstrated influence at scale across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without relying on authority
• Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market activities including positioning, pricing and packaging, launches, and enablement
• Comfort collaborating with a distributed delivery team across time zones
• Supply chain and/or logistics experience is a plus

Compensation

• Base salary range: USD $180,000–$250,000 per year
