Job Description

Join Amazon.com Services LLC as a Sr Product Manager – Technical III for SpectraLink within Reliability & Maintenance Engineering. You will own the product lifecycle, roadmap, and stakeholder alignment for a cutting edge Digital Twin and Spatial Intelligence Platform, collaborating with a team of about six developers to scale this in house solution. This onsite role in Santa Monica, CA offers a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience are required, and you will work across cross functional partners to drive the 2026-28 initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the SpectraLink product roadmap end to end — define vision, tenets, strategy, and feature priorities for the 2026-28 portfolio.
  • Develop PR/FAQ and Working Backwards materials for new capabilities; align with OP1/OP2 narratives and organizational goals.
  • Scale spatial visualization across Reliability & Maintenance Engineering sites worldwide.
  • Extend layout generation beyond vendor SCADA to CAD models, PDF vector drawings, and other spatial sources.
  • Onboard 10+ operational KPIs (Job Activity Monitoring System, Labor Planning, High Impact Events, Work Orders, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Monitron, Safety Incidents) into spatial heatmaps.
  • Partner with Global Engineering Services Pre Launch to deliver spatial heatmaps for new launches.
  • Pilot test spatial capabilities for Workplace Health & Safety and Equipment Lifecycle Management — Installation, Operational & Performance Qualification.
  • Enable layout driven Asset Performance Management object code mapping, replacing the current Excel based approach.
  • Align cross functional stakeholders across Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Operations, Workplace Health & Safety, Global Engineering Services, Equipment Lifecycle Management, and vendor teams.
  • Define mechanisms and metrics (KPIs, adoption funnels, reporting standards) to track product performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and evaluating tradeoffs for a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive level prioritization and planning.
  • Bachelor's degree.

About the Team

The SpectraLink team sits within Central Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (Controls Engineering) and is building Amazon's first in house Digital Twin and Spatial Intelligence Platform. The team comprises Software Development Engineers focused on layout automation, spatial processing, heatmap rendering, and workflow integrations, supported by a Senior Software Development Engineer for strategy consultation and dedicated data engineering support. The team's mission is to transform how Amazon leverages spatial data to optimize operations.
