Sr. SAP FICO Product Manager

The Senior SAP FICO Product Manager will own the SAP FICO roadmap within Amazon's finance initiatives, guiding end-to-end product development and implementation strategy across SAP and non-SAP finance solutions supporting satellite connectivity.

Location and Compensation

Location: Arlington, VA (onsite)

Salary: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year

Minimum experience: 5 years

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for finance initiatives, supporting both SAP and non-SAP solution stacks.
• Define and drive the SAP FICO roadmap and implementation strategy, including integration with Amazon Corporate systems.
• Prioritize SAP FICO features and requirements to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Lead product discussions, establish goals and tenets, and conduct monthly business reviews with leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop use cases by gathering operational requirements, collaborate with software development to build features, and manage dependencies and exceptions.
• Participate in proofs of concept to validate solutions using SAP S/4 against business requirements.
• Contribute to unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and hyper care activities.
• Apply deep knowledge of business processes to design, develop, and test SAP S/4HANA ERP functionality, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, project system, cost center accounting, and product costing.
• Design features with SAP S/4HANA FICO to meet requirements, ensuring integration points with SD, PP, MM, PS, and other modules while applying SAP best practices.
• Navigate ambiguity and drive consensus across cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Communicate project status clearly to diverse audiences and escalate through appropriate channels to ensure on-time delivery.
• Draft business cases, solution narratives, and functional/technical documentation to support requirements.
• Demonstrate agile delivery strengths within the SAP end-to-end product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Proven track record in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience delivering product features and managing tradeoffs.
• 6+ years as a SAP solution lead, functional lead, or product manager with design and solution realization expertise in the SAP FICO module, including connections to SD, PP, MM, PS, TM, WM and related modules.
• Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
