Job Description
Senior Product Manager for Mechanical Systems focusing on water treatment, chemical programs, and cooling solutions for hyperscale data centers.
Location: Seattle, WA (onsite) • Salary: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year • Minimum experience: 1 year
Responsibilities
- Manage water treatment systems for data center cooling, covering reverse osmosis, ion exchange, water softening, and membrane processes.
- Oversee evaporative media lifecycle, scaling and fouling mitigation to sustain performance as fleet scales.
- Lead chemical management programs, including dosing strategies, compliance, and vendor relationship planning.
- Drive water efficiency initiatives across a fleet of data centers.
- Specify and manage heat transfer fluids used in liquid cooling applications.
- Build cross functional relationships to capture robust and complete requirements for mechanical solutions.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for new mechanical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of Mechanical Systems for the next generation data center in a highly cross functional environment with internal customers, hardware, and software teams.
- Coordinate cross organizational programs with internal and external teams to deliver complex initiatives with high impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 1+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment.
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- Experience in data center design, HVAC design, and related product development.
- Knowledge of power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems.
- Proven track record of guiding teams of 5-25 high performing associates with demonstrated growth.
