Technical Product Manager

Senior Technical Product Manager focused on internal systems for a multi-site manufacturing and distribution business.

Responsibilities

• Direct internal systems and software improvement initiatives
• Convert business needs into detailed technical requirements and actionable project plans
• Guide the in-house development team on priorities, timelines, and delivery
• Assess proposed technical solutions and ensure solid execution
• Own QA, testing, bug tracking, and release readiness processes
• Collaborate with operations, warehousing, production, and leadership to streamline workflows

Requirements

• At least four years in technical product management, systems leadership, or software project ownership
• Solid technical grasp of software architectures, databases, and end-to-end workflows
• Able to read PHP and SQL code and discuss architectural decisions
• Experience steering software delivery or development initiatives
• Strong ability to elicit requirements, prioritize work, and drive execution
• Background in manufacturing, warehousing, ERP, or e-commerce is preferred

Job Summary

Oversee the software ecosystem that supports a multi-site manufacturing and distribution operation. You will work directly with the CEO, operations leaders, and developers to enhance inventory, production, warehouse, billing, and customer-facing systems. This is not an IT infrastructure or help desk role. You do not need to be a full-time developer, but you must be technically proficient enough to understand code, databases, workflows, and challenge technical decisions.
