Job Description

JPMorganChase is seeking an Area Product Owner to help drive the Due Diligence Toolkit across internal and external applications within Wealth Management Investment Solutions. This onsite role in Jersey City, NJ supports the prioritized needs of the Due Diligence Teams while you own the product vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators. You will also fully migrate to the Product Owner Model and work closely with cross-functional partners to translate business goals into measurable outcomes.

What you’ll focus on

As the Area Product Owner within the Due Diligence Product Team, you will be a member of the Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions team. Your primary function is to drive the internal and external applications that make up the Due Diligence Toolkit, own the vision for those applications, and lead the migration to the Product Owner Model to support the Due Diligence Teams’ priorities.

  • Drive larger-scale projects and business initiatives independently, alongside the Product Owner
  • Set strategy and lead product-level strategic and tactical decisions
  • Analyze feedback from end users and other product partners to identify platform improvement opportunities
  • Support defining product-level Objectives and Key Results, including prioritization of work and product sprint planning
  • Set day-to-day priorities for the product team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work continuously with Technology, Designers, and Business Users
  • Engage broader business groups such as Risk, Controls, and Strategic Partnerships to ensure vision alignment and drive progress

How success is measured

You will be accountable for the product’s objectives, roadmaps, and key performance indicators across the Due Diligence Teams, owning the overall health and value delivered.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of direct experience as a senior business person, program manager, or technology platform owner in a complex organization that brought new portfolio management solutions to market
  • Solid understanding of Portfolio Management and/or Due Diligence Tools
  • Direct asset and wealth management experience, preferably in a multi-asset environment (equity, fixed income, commodity, and currency); working knowledge of fund of funds and investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and structured products
  • Ability to manage a large book of work with budgeting and financial skills, translate complex delivery details for broad audiences, and drive concepts to execution; strong written and verbal communication skills for a global team
  • Deep understanding of agile development practices to manage priorities across scoping, design, implementation, and rollout
  • Ability to write stories for the development team, facilitate testing, and manage implementation
  • Ability to understand product priorities and align the backlog to deliver value in increments
  • Strong relationship management skills and experience communicating with senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Client-focused, results-oriented mindset with motivation to lead and collaborate

Compensation: USD 133,000 - 215,000 per year.
