Wealth Management - Product Owner for Investments Data - Vice President

JPMorganChase’s Private Bank Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) supports Wealth Management with investment and private banking capabilities built for real customer outcomes. In this role, you will help shape and deliver AI-ready, governed data products that improve how teams discover, access, and trust wealth management data. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of investments data products, partnering across business, data, and technology to translate customer needs into scalable delivery.

What you’ll do

• Develop a data-product strategy and product vision focused on delivering value to customers
• Lead discovery and use stakeholder feedback to uncover customer solutions, then integrate those insights into the product roadmap
• Own and maintain the data-product backlog, ensuring it supports the overall roadmap and value proposition
• Build a framework for key success metrics and measure performance over time
• Track data quality, usage, cost, feature/functionality, reliability, scalability, and AI-readiness
• Develop AI-ready data products by ensuring high-quality metadata and taxonomy
• Guide the buildout of a semantic and context layer that supports Agentic AI discovery and use of data products
• Manage the data lifecycle and governance for data products, including classification, usage, retention, lineage, quality, and controls

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in data-product management or a relevant domain area
• Advanced knowledge of the data-product development lifecycle, plus requirements definition, ideation, and strategic development
• Advanced understanding of design and data analytics
• Advanced expertise in data governance, including data controls and governance concepts
• Ability to lead data-product lifecycle activities, including discovery
• Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
• Wealth management domain expertise across areas such as the client/advisor model, accounts, brokerage, trusts, managed accounts, portfolios/holdings, transactions, performance, fees, risk/suitability, tax considerations, and reporting expectations
• Familiarity with data contracts and consumer-centric delivery, including APIs/SQL/feeds, versioning, deprecations, and backward compatibility
• Metadata and semantics literacy, including glossary/definitions, conformed entities, metric governance, and lineage comprehension
• AI literacy for data products, including RAG, grounding, entitlements-aware retrieval, evaluation, and using AI to accelerate documentation and issue triage
• Hands-on data and analytics fluency, including SQL basics, KPI design, experimentation/measurement, data models and entity relationships, and basics of graph-databases
• A data quality and control mindset, with Agile delivery, execution, and risk/privacy awareness
