Ambulatory Product Operations Coordinator

The Ambulatory Product Operations Coordinator provides advanced coordination and administrative support for ambulatory operations at Moffitt Cancer Center, with a focus on vendor performance, records accuracy, and process improvement. This is an onsite role based in Tampa, FL.

Role Overview

In this position, you will serve as a primary escalation point for vendor-related issues and help drive timely, high-quality completion of patient record collection, pathology, and imaging needs. You will also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with internal teams to support operational execution across ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced coordination and administrative support for ambulatory operations, including vendor performance, records accuracy, and process improvement.
• Act as the first point of contact for escalated vendor issues.
• Monitor KPIs to support operational visibility and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality completion of patient record collection, pathology, and imaging needs.
• Support project-based initiatives within the Ambulatory Operations team by providing feedback on process improvement and data accuracy.
• May require travel to satellite locations based on project assignments.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical documentation, and vendor processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to resolve escalated issues professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy when managing confidential health information.

Salary and Work Location

• Pay: USD 21.65 to 33.05 per hour
