Assoc Product Manager
Job Description
Based in Spring Lake, Michigan with a hybrid work arrangement, Garrison Dental Solutions LLC is seeking an Associate Product Manager to steward the dental product portfolio and support new product development. This role translates customer insights into business cases and launches, collaborating across R&D, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to bring innovative dental solutions to market. The position offers exposure to a growing global dental products business and the opportunity to influence product decisions early in the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor dental industry trends, especially in restorative dentistry, and identify opportunities to advance product development.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to understand customer needs, the competitive landscape, and emerging product opportunities.
- Support management of matrix system product lines, including positioning, competitive analysis, and roadmap planning.
- Identify product improvements, line extensions, and new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations to define product requirements and specifications.
- Identify adjacent opportunities beyond core matrix system categories by mapping clinical workflows and assessing unmet customer needs.
- Conduct field research through dental office visits, trade shows, and collaboration with the sales team.
- Evaluate opportunities for both consumable and reusable product offerings.
- Support the identification, development, and launch of new products from concept through commercialization.
- Assist in developing business cases, including market analysis, competitive landscape, financial projections, and go-to-market considerations.
- Participate in cross-functional New Product Development efforts across engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
- Support the New Product Review process and related documentation.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics for product lines.
- Analyze sales trends, SKU performance, and regional performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify slow-moving SKUs and recommend actions to improve inventory efficiency and profitability.
- Support the development of reporting tools and dashboards to enable data-driven decision making.
- Contribute to product-level financial analysis to support prioritization and investment decisions.
- Build and refine financial models (NPV, contribution margin, ROI).
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align product strategies and support product-specific initiatives.
- Participate in trade shows and customer-facing activities to gather insights and support product adoption.
- Build relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and partners to support product development and commercialization.

- Hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence at Garrison’s Spring Lake offices three days per week, with two days per week from a home office, plus additional in-office time as needed based on project and team requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of high achievement through education, internships, professional experience, or other relevant experience.
- Experience in business analysis, data analysis, market research, or related disciplines is a plus.

- Salary of USD 70,000 - 85,000 per year, based on experience, with bonus potential and 401K with profit-sharing.
